Climate Of Nepal
 

Nepal has a temperate climate with typical northern hemisphere seasons but altitude makes great variations. The monsoon (mid June till mid September) which approaches from the Bay of Bengal every summer makes it wet & humid. All the other seasons exhibit different atmosphere & landscape.

Autumn, from September to November, produces lush & green environment with clearest blue skies. Days will be mild to warm and the nights cool. Winter, from December to February, is colder but people often considered it ideal. The skies will be still clear with crisp days & cold nights. Himalayan views will be magnificent. Spring, March to mid-June, can be increasingly very warm to hot in the lowlands. Daytime haze can obscure the Himalayan views.

Post-monsoon is the excellent time in Nepal when the countryside will be lush & green and during when many colorful festivals are also celebrated within this time of the year. A general temperature-chart can be as follows:
